Elizabeth J. Dietrich is a local Colorado attorney and experienced legal recruiter.  Ms. Dietrich received her undergraduate degree, with distinction, in 1988 from Stanford University.  In 1992, she graduated from Northwestern University School of Law. 

After graduating from law school, Ms. Dietrich moved to Denver and practiced law for close to a decade before becoming a legal recruiter.  She began as a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s office and then moved into private practice with prominent firms.  During her time in practice, she developed a strong network of respected colleagues in the Colorado legal community.  

While she was practicing law, Ms. Dietrich came to the realization that, although she was very good at getting a job, she did not particularly enjoy the job once she got it.   She also realized that she took great satisfaction in helping colleagues find new jobs.  She reveled in the whole job search process. 

So, instead of remaining an unhappy lawyer, she decided to follow her passion and become a legal recruiter.   In 1999, she transferred her base of experience to legal recruiting.  Since that time, she has deepened her relationships with the key decision makers in Colorado’s top firms and companies. 

Ms. Dietrich established eJD Search in 2003 with the goal of providing exceptional service and satisfaction to clients and candidates.    She offers the highest level of sophistication, dedication and integrity to the Colorado legal community.  Ms. Dietrich is married to a Denver attorney and has a young son, as well as an English Mastiff, and a cat named Otto.
